etnies X Skateboobs from Surfdome - Concrete Party Waves in Edinburgh

Surfdome have joined forces with etnies to introduce you to the Skateboobs crew - a young collective from Edinburgh who are striving to make skateboarding in their hometown a more welcoming place for all, while also promoting mental health awareness throughout the skateboard community.

Their aim, as they put it, is "to be the role models which we once needed".

Skateboobs formed in 2019 after many of crew moved to Edinburgh for university. Though initially bonding through their shared passion for skateboarding, it wasn't long before the Skateboobs Instagram and TikTok accounts were set up, platforms they use to promote and encourage female, non-binary and queer skateboarders from Scotland and beyond.

Longtime Scottish skateboard filmmaker Perry Kruger has worked on a short Skateboobs documentary on behalf of etnies and Surfdome which has just been released online. Enjoy Concrete Party Waves in Edinburgh below, then head on over to the Surfdome website to read a few words about the project!
