Lands End - Barney Page skateboards for suicide awareness

Throughout September and October 2021, Barney Page laid claim to one of the most momentous 'firsts' in U.K. skateboarding history - he skated the legendary 941 mile route from John O’Groats to Lands End in memory of his friend Ben Raemers, raising funds for The Ben Raemers Foundation, the suicide prevention and mental health charity that has been set up in Ben's name.

Ryan Sherman documented Barney's gruelling journey, and has spent the time since crafting the footage into Lands End, connecting with those close to both Barney and Ben, and rounding up a whole load of both seen and previously unreleased archival footage. The primary aim of Lands End is to shine a light on the darkness of suicide, and discusses how we can turn the corner on mental health.

Lands End premieres throughout Europe over the coming weeks - for premiere info, click here - and the film is due to be released online afterwards.

Serious props to both Barney and Sherman for their work on this amazing project. Please watch the trailer below and attend one of the premieres if you can.
