Many Thanks (2025) by Krishna 'Bish' Muthurangu-Hall

Writer: The Skateboarder's CompanionThe Skateboarder's Companion

How long has it been since Northern Souls came out? Nine years? Well, with that in mind, Many Thanks is the fifth full-length scene video by Krishna 'Bish' Muthurangu-Hall, anchored in Newcastle-upon-Tyne but featuring heads from all over the northeast and beyond. Whilst work on Many Thanks didn't instantaneously start upon the release of Northern Souls, it's clear that Bish and co. have been stacking clips for this one for a long while. The premiere for Many Thanks back in January was also the finest gathering of northeastern skateboarding that has taken place in recent times, taking in an extensive exhibition as well as the screening of Jack Veich and Jackie Young's Double Jackie video.

Anyway, Bish is a busy man, so it's taken a little while to get the online release of Many Thanks lined up, but we're pleased to say that, to start this new week, the video is finally online in full! Dive in below for sections from Ian Ashley, Matty B, Jamie Cairns, Will Creswick, Matty Ride-Smith, James Allen, Alethea Mountford, Jacky Young, Benny Smith, Phil Steavenson and a whole host of northeastern friends!

Expect to see fresh talent and unrinsed spots galore, in that time-honoured Bish tradition...
