The fist of two new SMiLe films from The Ben Raemers Foundation just premiered online, and this time around, they're heading to New Jersey to spend a few days with the one and only Fred Gall.
Fred discusses his turbulent journey in skateboarding, and opens up about his harrowing experiences with addiction, bereavement, and mental health.
Please set aside the seven minutes running time of the film and watch the whole thing from start to finish. We can't praise Fred enough for publicly sharing his story, or the good folks at The Ben Raemers Foundation for helping to get important conversations such as Fred's out there.
