Filmed and edited by Rhys Tweek over the course of 2019 - 2022, The Street Code Video is the full-length sibling to the two previous shorter Street Code edits. As the title suggests, expect Welsh street business from the likes of Jess Young, Taylor Oakley, Tal Jones, Gar White, Tweek, Welsh Tommy, Pedro Mayn, Jack Branch, Reid Allen and a wide variety of friends!
"We began filming for the video in 2019 using the Sony VX2, originally it was going to just be VX but I ended up using both VX and VHS due to the nostalgic look of those cameras.
We got hit by the pandemic which slowed us down and at one point it felt like the video would never get finished. I decided to make some Street Code edits leading up to the video through 2020 and 2021, which helped mold the structure of the video.
My favourite videos growing up skating in the 90s were Alien Workshop Timecode and Toy Machine Jump off a Building. I wanted the video to give a big nod to those videos, as they were the first skate videos I owned on VHS and hold a lot of nostalgia for me."
