Welsh skateboarding royalty Matthew 'Dykie' Ryan spent Christmas morning 2024 running the equivalent of a marathon - 26.2 miles - up and down Trinity Street in Barry, more famously known as the 'Gavin and Stacey hill'. Dykie's aim was to raise a festive £5000 for the homeless charity Shelter Cymru, a target which he has long since smashed.
